Accuracy is the measurement device’s degree of absolute correctness, while resolution is the smallest number that can be displayed or recorded by a measurement device.

Resolution needs to be better explored because it relates to overall accuracy. Often, distinguishing between accuracy and resolution is incorrectly interpreted when determining system needs. There is a significant difference between accuracy and resolution, even though they are related.
