Picotech's DrDAQ plugs easily into parallel ports of common Windows computers.

This device has built-in sensors for light & temperature measurements, there's also a microphone for sound recording. The device can also measure voltage and resistance. Further, it has a socket for standard pH electrodes and connectors that let you use optional external sensors for measuring temperature, humidity, pressure, etc.

This unit comes with software and cables, and is a superb tool for classroom science experiments.

Features:
Inexpensive
Built-in sensors to measure light, sound (level & waveforms), temperature
Measure pH — plug in a std. pH electrode
Measure voltages and resistances
Sockets for external sensors (temperature, humidity)
Can capture fast signals (for example: sound, waveforms)
Outputs for control experiments
Quickly configured on Windows PC
