Very specific parameters can be monitored via SafeTRAC's Diagnostic and Data Output (-DDO). This is a serial interface that lets researchers remotely set system parameters and monitor SafeTRAC status in real-time.
The following diagram illustrates how SafeTRAC can be integrated by discretely connecting to vehicle signal lines, or by tying directly to the vehicle’s serial communication bus:
