hi... i am trying to measure the dynamic frequency range of an eddy current sensor i made and compare what i get with those manufactured.
What exactly am i measuring is the sensor's response to a target material being displaced (a suitable distance within the sensor's range) at different frequencies. Can someone help me in deciding what should I look for while doing this experiment: the sensor oscillator frequency changes? and amplitude of oscillation?
Also, when manufacturers quote their sensor frequency response, does that mean that the target material is able to oscillate round those frequencies and that the sensor is capable of detecting such frequency of oscillations of the target?

thanks
